It’s a place of old kingdoms and diverse peoples, gods and monsters, soldiers and scholars, thieves and kings. Some stories follow people whose decisions may change the course of nations. Others follow people simply trying to survive. Together, they reveal a world much larger than anyone understands.
The Kingsfall Crisis
The first major group of stories in Aadanna takes place during the Kingsfall Crisis, which begins with the death of King Orion of Antonia in the Third Era of Aadanna. His death matters, but it’s only one part of something larger.
Across the continent of Eshurast, established systems of power, authority and rule are coming under pressure. Agents of Chaos work in secret to undermine Order and those who uphold it. Rival ambitions collide. Old divisions sharpen. War horns rally armies to battle.
People everywhere find themselves confronted by dangers they didn’t choose and responsibilities they never expected. Some will rise to meet them. Some will fail. Somewhere among all of them, heroes will emerge.
Nexus Events
The Kingsfall Crisis is a Nexus Event: a concentrated period of history in which lives intersect, choices compound and the future is shaped by people great and small. It’s not a single series viewed from beginning to end, it’s a point of focus around which different stories coalesce.
The Kingsfall Crisis specifically has been designed as a developmental series of stories, and is the first Nexus Event I’m exploring, with different stories gradually revealing more of Aadanna as their characters and consequences begin to intersect.

Aadanna Book 1: Andric
Andric dreams of adventure and becoming a soldier, but all dreams come at a cost. Thrust into the heart of a war he knows nothing about, he must hunt down a thief before the medallion he’s stolen can be used to destroy his country and bring death to everyone he knows.
The first novel set in Aadanna, and the first installment in the Kingsfall Crisis series of heroic fantasy stories, Andric explores a new world of sword and sorcery, bringing fresh adventures, heroes, and mysteries to life.

I’m currently building a group of test readers who can help me understand how these stories work for somebody encountering them for the first time. No writing or editing experience is required. What matters is simple: being curious.
